    Default Case Recommendations

I'm looking for a new PC case, I'd like it to be "normalish" though. (As a comparison right now I'm still using my Silverstone RV02-E and its massive)

Now the catch is, I'm changing from 'custom' liquid cooling to an AIO (I'm lazy and AIO's have gotten alot better then they useto be)

As my new PC will have a AMD Ryzen 9 7950x I'll be using a 360mm rad, I'd like this rad mounted on the top of the case instead of on the front panel (the current case I wanted to toss it into, the barbs of the AIO must be at the top instead of the bottom and due to the length of the tubes, and we all know barbs up top = bad)

MUST fit a EVGA RTX 3070ti FTW

    Any suggestions would be awesome!

I have the Fractal Design Meshify 2 case. I like it, lots of room and airflow. I built with it last year.

I just built a new system with an MSI 4070ti and chose the Be Quiet Silent Base 802. The case looks great and has good airflow.

Check out these build videos with the case and AOI coolers to see how it has some unique features to help:

    A) avoid the 7950x. It performs best when the non 3d cache ccd is disabled. You're essentially spending money for a 7800x3d with a bunch of windows scheduler issues (main one being it doesn't and likely won't ever actually have one). Just wait for the 7800x3d. B) there's so many good mid tower cases out there now. Just check out the main brands and look at the builds on pcpartpicker. Fractal, Be Quiet, Corsair, Cooler Master, Lian Li, etc.

hi fella, just done a new build myself.
    13700k, 7900xtx, 1 tb m.2, 4 tb storage, 240 aio, 1000w+80 all in a phanteks p600s.
definetly recommend this case but only downside was gpu attachment where thumb screws lock it to case, not to much room but gpu fits no probs.

I have a Thermaltake Chaser Mk-1 that needs replacing at some point, but I have zero concepts of the size of modern cases. From the sound of it, the AIO Rads are the thing you must watch out for more than the 30 series GPUs. 40 series GPUs are also rough, but I can't afford that anyway.

I've been looking at the Hyte Y60. I think someone called it a Lian Li copycat. It's big and has a neat angle to give it character, but it doesn't look like a dead Transformer.

10 fans, 3 top 3 bottom 3 front and 1 back. full size tower room for everything and then some. I have one, it's not only heavy but voluminous.

I'm late to this... but, maybe you haven't bought yet :)

I'm using a 7900 XTX from XFX (freakin' massive. 343mm long) which doesn't fit in most mid tower cases. So I'm using the Corsair 7000D airflow. Lovely case, though quite chonky. I wouldn't recommend it if you need to travel with your PC or move it much. Your GPU is 300mm so it will fit nicely into this case.

Then again, I don't even think you can get a mid tower that will support a 360mm rad. So I'm assuming your looking for a full tower.

Wow that's funny! Before I got to the bottom and saw that you got something I was thinking about replying and saying probably not considered "normalish" but I love my 5000T. Lol. Awesome!

One suggestion for your needs is the mid-tower NZXT H710i case. In contrast to your present enormous case, this one has a more conventional design and provides enough of room for your components. You can put your AIO at the top of the case because it supports 360mm radiators. The EVGA RTX 3070ti FTW graphics card can be accommodated by it as well. Excellent cable management solutions and pre-installed RGB lights are both available with the H710i. While accommodating your preferred cooling configuration and components, it offers a sleek and clean design. For pricing and availability, take a look at nearby retailers or online marketplaces.

Minor necro/hijack. Does anyone else have a Full Tower they like? The Corsair full towers are great looking but are very expensive. I love the idea of being ready to verticle mount, but at the prices, they should include a bracket/riser and cable bare minimum.
