Cyberpunk 2077 is good now

I purchased it on release and did not have the machine for it then at the time I think I had an I7 with a 1070, that was a big no, now a ryzen 9 and a 7900xt, power!. I Put about 25 hours in over the last week or so. WOW! The story. All the quests, the world filled to the brim with things to do. Wipe out bandits, you got it, hack something for someone, it's there, sneak around and try to capture an item/person/tech, it's in there too. The weapons! Oh my the weapons! Pistols, sub machine guns, full auto rifles, sniper rifles, shotguns, swords, machetes and knives of all shapes sizes and colors. No spoilers involved here but the story, the main story, excellent, just keeps getting you deeper. Steal cars, buy cars, buy motorcycles, get an apartment. Get different outfits and play dress up. I'm impressed. Reminds me of a cross between GTA, the division 1,2 and Fallout 3,4, new vegas.

I was lucky enough to have a decent computer at the launch and had minimal bugs. I absolutely loved the game and the story. I feel like it was overhyped and people had expectations set too high. Was it potentially rushed and should haven't have been launched on some platforms (PS4/XB1)? Absolutely. Was everybody expecting it to be as polished as Witcher 3 with years of improvement and DLC? Also true.

I played it after it was launched and enjoyed it I also played it on PC if I remember right most of the issues were with the console versions.

Yeah i've enjoyed it ever since i got it on Launch day, barely had any issues with it. Since you have it on PC i highly recommend you get some mods on the nexusmods website!

Love the game, going for another full run when the next DLC comes out. Love Scifi/Cyberpunk a lot.

It seemed to run fine except for the RTX stuff. Those features run like crap in any game.

I like RTX Reflections, real time HD reflections are always cool but have a huge performance impact.


Eidos seemed to buy back all the rights to the Deus Ex IP, so we should se a new Deus Ex in a few years too.

I mean there are multiple endings depending on your actions, which one did you go with?

After another run through, did another one to get the buy all the vehicles achievement and romance Judy, saved before the final battle and got 3 more endings:
The "Decide your own fate" ending, brutal, the end credits are incredibly sad.
The "Sign on the dotted line" ending, not as satisfying but still the lead up to it is something else.
The "Refuse to sign" again the lead up to it is the same as the sign but the ending of this one is very satisfying.

Next run through will be to do all the side biz quests achievement and romance Panam, this time a corpo rat. If this game ran on release it would have smoked game of the year easy.
