Why is chat disabled in TS channels for people not an officer. This seems like a very arbitrary and unnecessary restriction. It would be much easier to link things for information sharing to everyone in the channel versus having to send it to each person individually. Which is what we usually do.

I know It is a silly restriction. But the reason it probably is prohibited is due to people linking unnecessary things or you can spam the chat. One reason AOD probably has the Discord Server and your Division has it's own Category which you can post things without getting annoying notifications or noises. (Just going from experience with TeamSpeak and/or Discord)

I did bring this up with Guybrush and even he can not figure why members can not post in TS channels. perms for that are set to no restrictions. Yet officers/nco's can.
