Fallen Earth coming back online

Just a heads up for any Fallen Earth fans in here, the servers are going to be coming back online for people to enjoy soon.

These are just vanilla servers, nothing new to see.

Ya know, when I first saw a trailer for Fallen Earth circa 2011 I thought it was the beta for the Project V13 Fallout MMO Interplay got license to make as part of the deal to sell the Fallout IP to Bethesda. Project V13 it turned out never even made it to the Alpha stages because a stipulation in the agreement said that the game had to be up and running within 2 years of the date of sale. It was impossible for Interplay to make a game from scratch on that tight of a deadline because they didn't even have a graphics engine to run the game on. When the deadline lapsed Bethesda started filing injunctions to get the game shitcanned and all that survives now is some concept art and some leaked assets and screenshots from Masthead Studios who were helping to make the game on their own Earthrise engine.

That's an old game, look forward to seeing it come back.

Just tried it out a little bit ago. It was pretty fun for a couple of hours. I'm gonna wait it out until It's back on steam.
