Trust no one,
especially EA
It looks good, but I've been let down before.
I'm more excited to see The Mandalorian after watching the celebration panel today.
Shame its not going to have Multiplayer.

lmao There's no pleasing people. People have been bitching about EA having a monopoly over the Star Wars license (mostly because EA sucks major balls) partly because EA has said that they want their games to all be a live service, and that gamers "don't want a singleplayer story driven game". Many gamers have said otherwise, and now they finally come out with a game that's JUST what people were wanting, no multiplayer aspect or MTX and someone's still gotta complain.
That said, I'll wait until I see actual gameplay before getting my hopes up. Don't fall for pretty looking trailers. I like the direction they're going with this one so far, but it's still under EA's name so I'll remain suspicious.
I'm not trashing the game just saying the game looks as amazing as it currently does, no MP though lol. but as you said we need that actual gameplay footage before making our minds up, if it doesn't have gameplay like bf2 and its a lot better, then MP would be very much appreciated lol
episode 7 male edition
"no lootboxes"
It honestly looks really good.
if i can't yeet a stormtrooper off the side of a star destroyer im not buying tbh
I didn't think it looked good. I don't know why really, it just looked flat.
EA gonna kill it
I mean its basically force unleashed
Looks hella lame and too scripted. As much as I don't want another sandbox game, I do think a sandbox style Star Wars game would be pretty cool. Something along the lines of Skyrim, where you can actually make your own story and aren't forced into going down a specific path.
Also I think they should have used another engine. The Frostbite engine is getting boring to see from EA games all the time. I know it's EA mandated and all, but holy fuck is it getting stale. The movements always look the same.
Also the lightsaber in this game seems like it's just a bat basically. It lacks the look and feel of lightsabers in the movies or in something like Jedi Academy. When you hit someone multiple times, they should be losing limbs. Hell, you really only should have to hit someone once with a lightsaber to kill them. Like in Jedi Academy and Jedi Outcast, the lightsaber was basically the best weapon in the game cause it was hella strong.
Also also, what's with these EA Star Wars games and giving their protagonists little droids that hover around them? The EA Battlefront 2 chick had one that went with her everywhere and opened doors and shit for her, and this dude's got one that hangs and opens doors and scans shit too. I get that it's only 2 for 2 so far, but it's annoying that they're used for the exact same tropes too.
