AOD's Code of Conduct
The Angels of Death Code of Conduct is the face of our clan. Not only is it a guideline for member conduct, it is also a statement about what kind of gamers we are, and who we're looking for.
All members agree to the Code of Conduct upon being accepted into the clan, and are expected to uphold the code at all times. Our code ensures that our members conduct themselves respectfully and preserve the respected image of the clan.
Violation of the Code of Conduct can result in removal from AOD.
If you haven't reviewed the AOD code of conduct, please do so >>HERE<<
This applies in ALL servers, across all games that AOD supports.
Actions AOD members should NEVER do:
- Do NOT go into the server to make other people rage quit.
- Do NOT Do not glitch or exploit unintended game features for a competitive edge. This includes jet ramming and rushing to spawn uncap to kill newly spawned players by crashing into them.
- Do NOT troll the players on servers in any way, shape or form.
- Do NOT engage trolls.
- Do NOT be disrespectful in game chat. You can talk in chat, but remember you are representing AOD as a whole.
- Do NOT purposefully TK anyone. Jumping out of moving vehicles and letting them smack into team mates, jumping out of aircraft you are piloting, etc...
*Note* This is how OUR division will handle these rules. We are not in charge of other divisions and will only worry about our division. If you notice something wrong outside of the Battlefield division inform the Battlefield CO or XO's so that they can take the appropriate steps.
- Multi-Clanning: Please see the multi-clanning policy here
- Clan tags: All members are to wear AOD tags when playing games that AOD supports. If you take off AOD tags, you quit AOD. In Battlefield, if you leave the in game platoon, You have left AOD. If you need tags or to be added to a platoon please find an NCO as soon as possible.
- Smurfing: (Described as playing multiple Names) You may have multiple accounts, but you must let us know about them. Clan tags are to be worn on all smurf accounts.
- Behavior: No political, religious, or racial discussions. Be respectful to ALL. Remember you're not the only person in Teamspeak. Screaming, hogging comms, or being a nuisance will earn you a talking to. If your behavior cannot be corrected, you will be shown the door.
- Whining and Complaining: Do not whine and complain. Excessive complaining brings the mood down in Teamspeak, Discord, and the forums. Remember people come here to relax and have a good time, not listen to you complain. If you can't die without making an excuse, find the quiet channel and cool off. Constant whining will not be tolerated. Unconstructive comments and posts about EA, DICE or general game mechanics are not allowed in AOD communication channels.
- Member Activity: All members are expected to take part in the Division. This means playing with other members, squadding up, being in TS and posting on the forums. We should be willing to play with ANY AOD members and help each other succeed.
- Teamspeak: All AOD members are required to be on Teamspeak when playing any AOD Supported games. A supported game is defined as an AOD Division or an AOD Trial Division. Please do not AFK on TeamSpeak if you are not playing a game and logon to TeamSpeak and play with us at least once every 90 days. For more info on AOD TeamSpeak Rules, please read this: https://www.clanaod.net/forums/showthread.php?t=192709
- Forums: Please make 1 post least once a month.
- EA/DICE Terms of Service No violations of the EA/DICE TOS is permitted by any clan member on any server. This includes, but not limited to, glitching, stat padding, taking turns killing/reviving, etc. This rule especially applies to using login credentials to allow another member to use your account for any reason.
- Discord: It is not mandatory for members to join, Discord - but strongly encouraged to keep engaged with the community. Please see our Discord Policy, and how to join here
Also, we enforce a Push-to-Talk rule here in Battlefield as a common courtesy. With Voice Activation unwanted sounds such as sneezing or dogs barking comes through teamspeak, but with Push-to-Talk we can avoid that.
Infractions of any of these rules may result in rank demotion and/or removal from AOD.
