In my opinion discord tends not to perform as well when there are 200+ members on at one time

Oh I've never had trouble with there being a lot of people in one server. You might get a lot of spam in one single Text channel, but that's if there's a hot topic going on. I'd still prefer to use Discord personally. Originally Posted by AOD_Alopeke

I've noticed that teamspeak is better with huge groups (AOD which is 5000+ members), but discord its pretty good with smaller groups. Originally Posted by StrategicG00se

Discord doesn't currently offer us what we need for the way AOD operates. Not to say we won't operate one at some point in the future, but our voice communications are private and regularly see 300+ members using VOIP at any given time.
As it stands, TS just suits our needs better. Everyone knows the benefits Discord offers, they just don't currently outweigh it's challenges for an organization of our size and VOIP activity.
